First Alfen Twin Charging Station Installed

The UK’s first Alfen Twin has been installed for Bristol Council, providing Public Charging to Bristol City.

One of the UK’s largest independent supplier and installer of electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment, Elmtronics, have installed the very first Alfen Twin Charging Unit in the UK for Bristol Council.

The Twin charging station is located on Counterslip Road in Bristol, charging is provided by charge your car (CYC) the pay-as-you-go recharging network for EVs, you can register to use this network online.

The Alfen Twin is a highly robust and solid charging station, especially designed for public locations.  The housing of the charging station has been made completely out of stainless steel and naturally blends into the streets environment thanks to its neutral design.  The Twin has no protruding parts and has a sloped top to prevent objects being placed on top of the Twin – Proven reliable and solid charging technology!

The Twin has a charging capacity of 11kW or 22kW per socket and each Twin is equipped with two sockets.
