UK will stick with its target of phasing out sale of new petrol and diesel cars by 2040!

After deliberations of moving the date of phasing out petrol and diesel cars to 2032, the UK government have rejected the proposal and are keeping the original date of 2040!

The government are insisting the original date of 2040 is the right balance to end the sale of petrol and diesel cars in the UK.

Environmentalists pushed the call forward, after many other EU countries have much more ambitious plans than the UK.
