Elmtronics have rejoined the AFP for a further year and will remain on the LCV committee.
The Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP), was born from merging two of the industry’s most respected organisations, the ACFO and ICFM. The AFP is now itself a trusted organisation that offers membership to fleet professionals.
Membership gives access to activities and insight, and aims to ‘increase voice through combined strength’. It’s designed to enable fleet decision-makers to obtain advice and guidance regarding the key issues that are impacting the operating efficiency and effectiveness of their fleets.
As a business we decided to join for a further year to ensure we stay connected and share impartial advice; on vehicles, policy, legislation, horizon scanning, infrastructure and support.
“We’re delighted to continue being part of such a vital organisation. Not only will membership enable us to connect and stay up to date with the industry, it will also allow us to share and engage in educating fleet managers on key issues.” Dan Martin, CEO, Elmtronics.
As the AFP was in its early stages Sara Sloman, now Head of Future Partnerships at Elmtronics, joined the Committee for Light Commercial Vehicles as a volunteer to help get things up and running. Sara will continue as an honorary member, gaining support for Elmtronics from the LCV committee.
Sara commented, “Being part of the AFP means that we are at the heart of the discussion, we can shape the future for fleet, not just here in the UK but Europe and beyond. It is a privilege to be on the LCV committee alongside such esteemed professionals”
