Elmtronics, the UK’s largest independent electric car charging company, have announced the opening of their third office in the UK.
New premises, based in Almondsbury, Bristol, comes after the EV charging company’s announcement of a three-year growth plan. An increased demand in EV charging point installation led to a need for 30 new jobs throughout the UK but largely within the North East.
Anthony Piggott, Technical Director said: “The electric vehicle market is predicted to expand rapidly over the next decade and Elmtronics’ strategy, coupled with this market boom, will unlock huge growth potential within EV charging.”
The Bristol office will be the EV charging company’s third location, along with its HQ in County Durham and existing office near Heathrow Airport in London, since forming in 2014.
Founded by Anthony Piggott and Dan Martin, Elmtronics is currently seeking investment to support growth in key areas, including innovative EV charging product offerings and expansion into new EV charging markets in Bristol.
With domestic sales of electric vehicles expected to grow from 100,000 to over 10 million by 2030, Elmtronics intends to make a bold move into the market by March this year.
Elmtronics operates predominantly in the workplace and public EV charging sectors, working with some of the largest councils and NHS Trusts, including North Somerset Council and Southern Health NHS, as well as large private companies such as Nike, Keepmoat and Arriva.
